Starting at $21,500, including installation, a Hot Shot Sleeper Cabs is an investment that will pay for itself.

You will save thousands of dollars each year in lodging fees. The advantage of not relying on hotel rooms any longer when your drive time is over is priceless. When your drive time is over you can pull over almost anywhere and get a good night’s sleep.

Safety and security of sleeping above the gooseneck. By sleeping over the top of the gooseneck will give you added safety and security while sleeping on the road by occupying the high point of the trailer and being able to look down upon your surroundings.

Opportunity to bring your significant other with you on the road. How many times have you been at a truck stop or a rest area and watched with envy as a semi driver is enjoying his/her off time with their significant other? Now it is the Hot Shot Truckers turn to enjoy that same opportunity.

Opportunity to bring your security dog on the road with you. Now that you have your Hot Shot Sleeper Cab the back cab of your Dually can now be used for your dog to travel along with you. A security dog can guard you at night while you sleep from the back seat of the dually and sleep all day while you drive.

The Hot Shot Sleeper Cab allows you more than one use of your truck when not hauling a load. Unlike the dually’s you see on the road that have taken the beds off the back of their trucks and installed a very expensive and not attractive sleeper cab bubble that allows them only a single use for that truck and that is being on the road, towing a trailer and sleeping in a tight fiberglass bubble that has half the room as a Hot Shot Sleeper Cab. Not to mention these units cost an average of $27,000.00. By owning a Hot Shot Sleeper Cab when you return home and unhook from your gooseneck trailer, you can now get back to using your truck for domestic chores where you need the bed of your truck for hauling materials.

The Hot Shot Sleeper Cab is affordable. The price of the Hot Shot Sleeper Cab is relatively low compared to the same square footage of a Toy Hauler or a Fifth Wheeler. The price of the Sleeper Cab is only approximately 40% by the square foot when making these comparisons.

Avoid the Ticket at your next DOT Inspection! You are now able to be DOT compliant with 49 CFR 393.76 mandatory 75” Sleeper Berth Requirement. No more running the risk of getting a ticket at your next DOT check for simply sleeping in the back of your truck.

Our Story

DRIVE HARD--SLEEP WELL!
Designed by a Hot Shot Trucker for Hot Shot Hauling.
We started out like you sleeping in the back of the truck but that got old real quick! So we built a sleeper cab.
Every day fellow truckers on the road asked us to build them one so we decided to upgrade from our homemade wood and fiberglass sheeted model to our patented fiberglass unit built by a commercial shipyard from a fiberglass mold. Lightweight and aerodynamic--weights approximately 1,000 pounds. The gooseneck on PJ and Big Tex trailers are rated for 7,500 pounds of vertical weight. The Truck gets approximately .02 mpg less with the unit which is very minimal when you consider the cost of lodging. Not to mention there are very few hotels available to sleep at when your driving day is done. The most important factor is the DOT is starting to give tickets to Hot Shot Drivers that are sleeping in the back of their dually's as they do not meet the 75" sleeper berth requirement.

In some loads, it actually cuts down on drag—saving fuel! Here is a photo of our original pro-type unit with a load of pipe. We noticed that after hauling many loads of pipe without the sleeper cab that when the sleeper cab was installed we actually got better fuel mileage because it directed the wind flow over the pipes.
